This stove does not meet current EPA regulations and is no longer available for sale.
The Cunningham model 203 is a stove made and manufactured by the Amish. It is airtight and ULC certified. Woody, here at Obadiah's, has burned a Cunningham in his shop for over 10 yrs. The Cunningham has seen many improvements and is now also a wonderful convection heater thanks to Pioneer Stoves re-design. Convection heating is far better than radiant, which is hotter the closer you get and cooler the farther away from the stove. With Convection Heating, you'll find it is cooler near the stove and warmer in the corners furthest from the stove than would be the case with a Radiant Stove. Woody says the Cunningham Stove is one of his favorite woodstoves..... "with the huge firebox, great heat output and ease of operation, the new Convection Technology is the icing on the cake".
Although this stove is not an EPA approved woodstove, it burns well.
This is a great stove for someone out in the country with the ability to burn what you want.
As it does not have an oven, some folks cook on top of their stoves; that is why you will find the Cunningham in both our woodstove and cookstove category. The Cunningham is ULC listed and does meet insurance company regulations for woodstoves.
