The Drolet Heat Commander is among the most efficient systems on the market based on distributed energy. The Heat Commander is a central heating system that is both cutting edge and accessible thanks to its innovative design and ease of use. EPA certified, its 310,000 BTU capacity makes this furnace versatile and ideal for heating spaces up to 2,500 ft².

The Heat Commander Furnace is designed and approved to function with a minimum of 6 Hot Air Plenum Ports active and a maximum of 10. Meaning you can plug up to 4 of the Hot Air Ports in the Plenum without affecting performance and safe operation of Furnace. No additional ports can be added beyond the 10 that come standard .

This product is eligible for a residential energy tax credit which is up to 30%. Note: check with your accountant to see if you are eligible for this tax credit.

This furnace has been a great match for my forced air system. An engineer on the project  surprised me with a call just to advise and get whatever for feedback , says volumes to their product commitment. I use a pellet stove when it's not so cold, with an electric back up I've never used. My firewood consumption has reduced greatly and I'm toasty warm. Obidias has many other choices and don't seem to be bothered by questions. Can't say enough good about the experience.
