We have had the large size Vermont Casting Dutchwest Catalytic Stove for 12 years and it has been the best wood stove we have ever owned!  Your home or clothes will not smell like you burn wood...no smoke smell at all from this wood stove.  We heat 1010 square feet with the large size wood stove and we probably shoud have purchased the small size instead because it would have been plenty of heat for the area we are heating.  The wood burns for hours and it leaves behind nice coals that are easy to restart the fire. This wood stove has glass in the front of the door so you can see the fire burn...is a nice feature and the glass is easy to clean. Also has an ash pan in the bottom that is easy to clean.  This wood stove is high quality and nice looking!
