We have had this stove 2003. It is beautiful and works great . We have had to replace the Refractory twice and the catalytic combustor once.

Have owned this stove since 1998.  Just awesome heater.  Have to replace the combuster every 5 years or so, along with door gasket.  Had to replace rear plate in the back after 17 years.  Would not purchase any other stove.  Fantastic piece of equipment.

I HAVE OWNED THIS STOVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS.  MY OTHER PREVIOUS STOVES JUST COULD NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS.  THIS DUTCHWEST STOVE OUT-PERFORMS ALL OTHER STOVES I'VE EVER HAD.  I USUALLY GET 12-24 HOUR BURNS IN COLDEST PART OF  WINTER.  I CAN CLOSE UP THIS STOVE TIGHT ENOUGH THAT I CAN COMPLETELY PUT THE FIRE OUT!  I BOUGHT THE LARGEST OF THIS STYLE STOVE, WHICH IS ACTUALLY RATED TO HEAT MUCH MORE AREA THAN I HAVE, BUT I DID THAT SO I COULD LOAD THE FIRE BOX FULL AND NOT HAVE TO KEEP FILLING IT SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.  I HAVE ONLY 1 COMPLAINT ABOUT THE STOVE AND THAT IS THE CERAMIC HANDLES ARE TOO BRITTLE AND DON'T LAST LONG.  I FIXED THAT PROBLEM BY CUTTING 3/8" BLACK WATER PIPE PIECES AND REPLACED THE CERAMIC WHEN THEY BROKE.  I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DUTCHWEST STOVE TO ANYONE.  I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE.  I'VE TRIED THE REST, NOW I'VE GOT THE BEST!  I'D BUY THIS STOVE EVEN IF IT COST $3000.
