No Longer Available from Obadiah's. This model was discontinued in 2020. It is being replaced by the model 8103. Tired of waking up in the middle of the night to keep the fire going? With the Mansfield 8012 soapstone wood stove, that obligation is a thing of the past! This powerhouse of a stove can provide up to 14 hours of continual heat with only one full load of wood. Along with an extended burn time, the Mansfield 8012 also produces up to 80,000 BTUs, which keeps your house warm while you are sleeping, or away.
As with any great Hearthstone wood stove, there are plenty of features on top of the ones already mentioned. The extra-wide door makes putting wood on the fire a breeze, and with the 3.2 cubic foot firebox that can hold up to 64 lbs. of wood, there is a lot of logs that can be put in this stove. A removable ash drawer makes cleaning out ashes easy and fast. The non-catalytic combustion system provides a more efficient, clean burning combustion that reduces the amount of creosote and smoke produced by the fire. Efficiency can be improved even more in newer homes by getting an optional air adapter that reduces cold air drafts along the floor. Fire viewing is enhanced by secondary air tubes that ignite the gases rising off the burning wood, which results in an amazing display of fire that is sure to draw your gaze.
An extended heating time, a heat production rate of 80,000 BTUs, and a variety of features that improve the efficiency and ease of use are a testament to the great value that Obadiah's Wood Stoves offers in this Hearthstone product.

Features
3.2-cubic-foot firebox; extra-wide door Holds up to 64 lbs. of wood. The Mansfield's deep firebox allows logs up to 19" in length to be accommodated straight in or 21" in length side-to-side for easy loading.
Single air-intake lever/stove control Single air-intake lever/stove control
Open and close ash grate and removable ash drawer Easy, clean ash removal; pan can be removed while fire is still burning.
Unmatched fire viewing Air entering the firebox through the stoves secondary air tubes ignites the gases rising off the burning wood. The resulting light and flames provide dazzling fire viewing, even when the fire is burning at a low rate.
Non-catalytic combustion system Clean burning, more complete combustion provides more heat from less wood, greater efficiency; reduced smoke and creosote build-up.
Outside air adapter (optional) Improved efficiency in todays newer "airtight" homes; reduces cold air drafts along the floor.
Rear heat shield (optional) Allows more placement options; stove can be installed closer to a wall because clearance requirements are reduced; creates a convection passageway between shield and back of stove to allow fan to circulate air through house.
Fan with built-in thermostat and rheostat (optional) Helps spread heat evenly throughout home; fan operates only when stove is at significant heat level. The rheostat controls fan speed. Use of rear heat shield is required
