The Hearthstone Tucson 8702 is a direct vent soapstone gas stove that can heat smaller areas (up to 1200 square feet). Similar to the Hearthstone Stowe cast iron stove, this soapstone stove utilizes the efficiency and functionality that can be found in the Stowe, but with the added beauty of natural soapstone.
This soapstone stove contains various pieces of Hearthstone technology that make it so efficient and functional. With a sealed firebox and direct-vent technology, cold air drafts are reduced, and efficiency is increased. A large fire viewing window in the front of the gas stove lets you gaze upon the flickering flames. A ProFlame electronic ignition system conserves gas by turning the pilot light off when the soapstone gas stove is not in use. Along with this product, Obadiah's Wood Stoves also lets you order a liquid propane conversion kit, should you wish to convert your gas stove. With beautiful natural soapstone, this gas burning stove already emits a lot of comfortable, radiant heat. But with the HeatWave refractory built in, heat is pushed toward the glass, and out of the stove, resulting in even more heat for a space. This direct vent gas stove is also easy to control. With the included remote control, you can easily manage the way this fine stove runs, with different options for operating your Hearthstone stove.
